Summer 
Get-together & BBQ Coordinating Meeting 2017

It was Saturday 27th May 2017, members of present executive committee of TPLS UK including senior active advisers gathered in Samuel Cody Sport hall for another meeting. The meeting was conducted in order to discuss and formulate a coordinating plan for upcoming Summer Get-Together and BBQ to be held on 24 June 2017.

All attendees had taken up their seats in good time after having delicious lunch.With usual prelims and the President, Maj (Retd) Khusiman Lhenge Tamu MVO, facilitating lighting of candle and dhup, the meeting was opened up by Secretary Khem Sarabja Tamu at 1230 hrs.  The meeting agendas were divided into three distinct phases;
1. Coordinating plan for Summer Get-Together
2.  United Lhosar Celebration invitation letter from Tamu Dhee Association UK (TDAUK)
3.  Any other businesses

Under careful proceeding of the Secretary, agendas of first phase were rolled smoothly covering details aspects of task, pinning down all necessary requirement for summer day event. Importantly, essential administration tasks and requirement were identified and delegated to respective members of the executive committee.

With quick break in between, the second phase kicked off with the President reading out the invitation letter sent by TDAUK. The central theme of the invitation letter was proposal from TDAUK to organise future Tamu Lhosar Celebration as combined between TPLS UK and TDA UK. This was by no means an agenda that could have been taken lightly due to number of challenges and implications that are associated to it. Therefore, it went onto significantly lengthy and productive discussion between members of the executive committee and active advisers. In all fairness, the final decision produced positive and very satisfactory outcome.

As time was drawn closer to end, the secretary continued picking up bits and pieces as laid out in the meeting agenda document. Furthermore, the significant agendas of the final phase was brief and important project report updates presented by respective project coordinators to the committee.
 

The meeting near to the end as President briefly ran through Sanghs' list of FoEs and further extending his gratitude and appreciation to all members who made their effort to attend the meeting. Finally, the meeting was concluded by the Secretary reading out record of decisions in brief and assuring the members that minute of meeting will be prepared and distributed in due course.
