A warm and ceremonial farewell

A warm and ceremonial farewell was extended to the Kohla visiting team led by the President, Capt. Dem Bahadur Yoja Tamu of Tamu Pye Lhu Sangh UK, as they embark on their Kohla study, observation and exploration visit scheduled from 19th to 24th April 2026. The send-off took place at Pha.Li.Na. Kohinbo in shaktighat, Ranipauwa, Pokhara, where well-wishers honoured the Kohla visiting team with traditional tika and vibrant flower garlands. The occasion was filled with pride and heartfelt wishes for a meaningful, successful and enlightening journey ahead.



On the morning of April 19th, the Kohla visiting team gathered at the Pha.Li.Na. Kohinbo premises for a graceful and heartfelt send-off. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and anticipation as Mr Om Bahadur Thimche Tamu, President of Tamu Pye Lhu Sangh, Central Committee, extended his sincere best wishes for a successful and purposeful journey. In a touching expression of tradition and goodwill, all members of the committees offered tika to the Kohla visiting team, blessing with success, safe journey and the fulfilment of their mission. The ceremony beautifully reflected unity, pride and collective hope for their meaningful endeavour.


The farewell ceremony was further enriched by the gracious presence of distinguished representatives from across the organisation. Executive members of the Tamu Pye Lhu Sangh Central Committee, the Central Women's Committee, the central Youth Committee, the Kaski district Committee, the Kaski District Women's Committee and the Tamu Pye Lhu Sangh Hong Kong gathered to honour the departing team.


In a vibrant display of unity and cultural pride, they adorned the Kohla visiting team with tika and fragrant flower garlands, offering heartfelt blessings and best wishes for a successful, enriching and impactful visit. The moment stood as a beautiful testament to solidarity encouragement and shared hopes for the team's meaningful journey ahead.


On the first day of the visit, April 19th, the Kohla visiting team set out on their journey to Bhujung with enthusiasm and purpose. Along the way, making meaningful stops to visit and observe the kohinbos constructed by the Tamu Pye Lhu Sangh Lamjung District Committee in Beshishar as well as the Tamu Pye Lhu Sangh Ikai Committee in Dasthar Ghalegaun.


These visits offered valuable insights and inspiration, marking a thoughtful and engaging start to their study, observation and exploration mission.
