Kohla Sonpre Toh:
An Ancient Site of Tamu Tribe
Kohla Sonpre Toh is an ancient settlement of the Tamu (Gurung) people and is believed to be their last collective homeland before dispersing to lower elevations across the Gandaki region of western Nepal. It is situated at 3,300 metres on the foothills of the Annapurna and Lamjung Himal ranges, holding significant historical and cultural value.

The Kohinbo and Its Ancient Origins
The Kohinbo is a revered clan (Kul), often associated with ancestors and regarded as the house of ancient religious practices. It symbolises deep-rooted beliefs and functions similarly to a temple in Hinduism. According to the Pye (scripture), the traditions of the Kohinbo have been practiced since ancient times.
